The family room TV system is controlled by the Harmony remote — a single remote that handles the TV,
the receiver, and whatever you're watching. Press one of the activity buttons at the top to get started.

Alexa Commands (Family Room)
- "Alexa, turn on / turn off the TV"
- "Alexa, turn on Roku"
- "Alexa, mute / unmute the TV"
- "Alexa, pause / unpause the TV"
- "Alexa, turn up / down the volume"
- "Alexa, restart the family room Roku" — useful if Roku is behaving strangely
- "Alexa, restart the family room Harmony" — useful if Harmony is behaving strangely
The family room Harmony is often the first device to show problems when there are internet or network issues. If the Harmony stops responding and you suspect a network problem, see
Home Network first.
If the Harmony Stops Responding
- Open the right-most cabinet door under the TV.
The Harmony hub is mounted inside — check it hasn't fallen to the cabinet floor.
- Check the light: green = ready, red = needs restart.
- If red: say "Alexa, restart the family room Harmony" and wait about 3 minutes for a green light.
- If still not working: open the Harmony app on your phone. If an activity shows
as running, turn it off from the app. Then restart the activity from the app.
- If problems continue: replace the battery in the Harmony remote
(CR2032, 3V watch battery).
If the TV Is On but There's No Sound
Try turning up the volume with the TV remote first. If that doesn't help: open the Harmony app,
turn off whatever activity is showing as active, restart the activity from the app, then try
the volume again with the Harmony remote.
Listening to Music (Sonos / AirPlay)
- Press the Music note button (short press) on the Harmony remote.
- Start a track playing on your phone.
- Tap the AirPlay icon at the bottom of the Music app and select which
speakers to use. Choose the Denon Amplifier and/or speakers with "Sonos" in the name.
- Volume is controlled from your phone. You can further adjust the Denon receiver's volume
using the Harmony remote.
Master Bedroom
