Emergency & Quick Reference
If Home Assistant Is Completely Down
The lights, locks, and security system will continue to work without Home Assistant —
they just won't be automated. You can lock the doors manually, use the panel at the bottom
of the stairs for security, and control most lights from their wall switches.
Call Grant.
If the Alarm Won't Stop
Go to the network closet, open the left panel, pull the red battery cable, and pull up the
pink zip tie to unplug the A/C adapter. See Security for detail.
If the Internet Is Down
See Home Network for the step-by-step restart and full reset procedures.
Power Outage
- Most lights will not work. Battery-powered lighting is in the kitchen utility drawer.
- If the security system starts chirping (low battery backup), cut its power in the left
network closet panel. See Security.
- The Ariya can be charged at a public station if needed. See Vehicles.
